I'm not sure where Jonas got that information, but there won't be any release 6.2 coming out this year - 6.1 isn't even out yet! Perhaps it is version 6.2 of the book?

Seems like somebody checking the threads. "6.2" disappeared from the picture of the cover.emoticon
Unfortunately, it's probably going to take some more time till all the title of the book in text will be fixed.

I am wondering which version of Liferay Yuan's upcoming book is going to be based on especially since 6.1 was announce to be made available in Q4
instead of this fall.
Anybody have any information. Has anybody reserved the book already?

If you want to read a good Liferay book get Liferay in Action. It's clear, concise and endorses the practices we teach at our trainings.

Thank Mika, but I already have Liferay in Action. I was wondering if there was going to something out on 6.1 (or 6.2 emoticon )
Action books are very good but they tend to be very behind. What Manning is doing with making the pdf version available for
download on a ongoing basis is very good, but by the time the book is finally put into print, the next version of the software
is usually around the corner.emoticon
