Hi All,

I need to create JSF portlet in eclipse Helios for that I have configured liferay ide.
It provide me options to create JSF and Vaadin portlet, but when i am trying to to the same it is asking me for liferay SDK 6.1 ( At least SDK version 6.1.0 is required to use the selected portlet framework.)

Please suggest what should i do?

Create the project using the standard liferay MVC portlet. That is just to create the project.

After the project is created, you can right-click and choose "add portlet" (or some such thing) and add your JSF portlet that way.

Hi David,

Still I am not able to create Jsf 2 portlet using eclipse Helios, I have just created a simple mvc portlet as you mentioned earlier. Then try to add JSF capability but it is asking for the portlet plugin project and the source folder.

Please suggest

Thanks,
Madhab
