Hi all

If I create a child page in a wiki, then the child page still shows up in the "Orphan pages"
despite there is a link from the parent page to the child page in the "Child pages" section.

As there is a link in the "Child pages" it is not an orphan page even though I have not created a link to the page in the wiki text.

Is this intended use of the Orphan pages?

It seems to me, that the functionality of Child pages is very weak documented. Can anyone provide me with some thoughts of the idea with child pages?

Best regards
Sune

This happens in our wiki as well using Liferay 5.2 Enterprise addition.
Any thoughts?

I think what orphan means is that no other wiki pages link to that page. So in that sense child pages would still be listed.

I'm not much of a wiki user but if you think it should be different you should open a ticket at http://issues.liferay.com.
