Hello,

I need to access the loginutil class for my login function (I need to do some other things in the login function) such as some logging, editting some files) but apparantely the portal-impl seems to be inaccessible for some reason...
I've already read that it's not a good idea to include it twice, but even when using maven and putting it on provided it doesn't seem to work.

What's the easiest/cleanest way to access the LoginUtil class?
I have some experience with portlet development, but my experience is quite limited with liferay.

I wanted to access LoginUtil as well, but putting a portal-impl as a dependency is definitely not recommended.
My requirement was a little different - Calling a sendPassword method. I achieved that by using Liferay Service Utils.

I have read about it and found out that it is not an accessible package. ..only portal.service and portal.kernal packages are available..
