Hello. When a try to add a file to the document library from a remote host (i'm not working width the server), i can't add files.

The problem:

- I login as administrator.
- I try to add a file
- I see the legend "Add File Entry" in the screen and nothing more.
- No errors in the console.

If I use the server (connected throught xterm), I can add files, then I not add files if I use other PC.

Server

LR5.2 (bundled jboss).
Red Hat 5 Enterprise Edition

Thanks!!

I tried with other browsers and OS's with the same user and works.. I suspect that is a combination of ubuntu (my OS) and firefox.

Thanks!

Same problem here.

I'm using :

Windows Vista
liferay-portal-5.2.3
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; fr; rv:1.9.2.3)
Gecko/20100401
Firefox/3.6.3

Works with chrome though.

This seems to only work for me on chrome, but I prefer to use firefox, and it fails if I add a file there. I would love to hear if there is a solution so I can stick with my favorite browser.

That's because Liferay 5.2 is using the old w3c specs which is not longer supported in most recent web browsers. Try using old version of web browsers.

If you want to use recent versions of web browser, upgrade to liferay 6.
