Hello.
I'm trying to use an icefaces calendar component in my portlet but it seems not to work well.
When i click the next/previous month button nothing appens.
I'm using liferay 5.2.3 and icefaces 1.7 starting from the sample portlet "sample-icefaces-jsf-1.1-sun-jsp-portlet-5.2.0.1".
Is there any trouble with versions ?

Thank you

I spent 2 weeks talking to the guys over at Icefaces and they could not get a portlet to work in Liferay for me. They didn't even know that Liferay had a newer version number out.

I'm using ICEfaces 1.8.2 with Liferay 5.2.3 for portlet development. I have a portlet using the ice:selectInputDate component. I haven't tried a lot of things with it but it's worked well for what I'm using it for.

I referred to the component showcase for examples of using the component. I found the component showcase to be a great help in learning how to use the various ICEfaces components.

I haven't used ICEfaces 1.7 I don't know if that might be the cause of your problems.

Have you posted to the ICEfaces Portlet forum? I've found the ICEfaces forums to be active and helpful.

Me too, I'm referring to the component showcase but I'm using icefaces 1.7.
I will try to upgrade to version 8 and let you know.
Thank you for your help.
