I have successfully Upgraded my project from Liferay6.0.6 to 6.1.1 .

It's working fine but I found an issue while deploying my portlets they are FinderCache & EntityCache Errors on Server.

 1Apr 3, 2013 1:10:26 PM org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader clearReferencesThreads
2SEVERE: The web application [/example-portlet] appears to have started a thread named [com.liferay.portal.kernel.dao.orm.FinderCache.com.
3liferay.portal.model.impl.OrganizationImpl.List2.data] but has failed to stop it. This is very likely to create a memory leak.

Better post your code snippets (XXLocalServiceImpl, XXFinderImpl etc) so we can see how do you use the cache.

Hi ,

i dont think the error is with XXLocalServiceImpl, XXFinderImpl classes.
While Upgrading I found the error

com.liferay.portal.convert.ConvertException: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry '10112-103-4-10140_XXXXX_103-10119' for key 'IX_8D83D0CE'

For this, I just altered the `resourcepermission` table
UNIQUE KEY `IX_8D83D0CE` (`companyId`,`name`,`scope`,`primKey`,`roleId`), to
KEY `IX_8D83D0CE` (`companyId`,`name`,`scope`,`primKey`,`roleId`).

Then upgrade process completed successfully ...

I think my problem resides around this ....

Thanks & regards,
Karteek

Then you can try re-index portal and restart so all caches are emptied.
