I just created a new Liferay instance in 5.2.x, and I don't have the ability to add the WOL portlets as the instance administrator. They appear under Plugins Configuration with the OOTB roles, but they aren't under "Add Applications." Now, I'm sure that I'm doing/not doing something silly, but I'll be darned if I know what it is. They show up under my standard instance, so I know that they are deployed correctly...

Any ideas?

It sounds like your user doesn't have the right permissions to deploy them.

Verified.

1. Create new instance.
2. Login to new instance as default admin user.
3. Open "Add Application"

The WOL portlets are not there.

Better file a report. Your second one today!
