Hi,

I have configured an Staging Server on my recently created Portal.

All the configuration is done, but when i try to publish the changes, nothing happens.

On my staging server, on Staging Menu, I select the Publish to Remote Live Now, then, I select all the pages and click on "Publish" After appears the following screen:

I don't know what i need to do now, if I select the Save option it opens the following page, but nothing happens on the live Portal.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

Hi JOAO,

If you have pointed to same Database, make sure in both portle.ext.properties file you have declared the same database connection string and also do not forget to clear the cache which is most important coz one server has different instant other has different. So clear the cache from the server management control panel.

Hope this will help !! Again clear the CACHE.

Have a good day !

Hi Pradeep,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm using two different database connections, in staging server and live server.

The only differences I have on portal-ext.properties are the database connections and in Live Server I have some lines to allow the Staging Server to publish on Live:
"
#Remote Staging
tunnel.servlet.hosts.allowed=127.0.0.1,SERVER_IP,10.***.***.***
tunnel.servlet.https.required=false
axis.servlet.hosts.allowed=127.0.0.1,SERVER_IP,10.***.***.***
axis.servlet.https.required=false
"

I tried to clean the cache but I still can't publish my staging changes on Live server.

Thanks again for the reply.

Hello JOAO,

I am not understanding how it gonna reflect in Live if you are using two different database servers. Staging server will Staging database and Live server will have Live Database. I believe in this way, that I you have same database and If you are making any changes from staging then there is a chance to publish in Live environment.

As far my knowledge, I have only this idea. You can test once pointing to same database for staging and live, Hope this may work.
