Dear all,

My Uni is trying to see if there is a way we can integrate apple's IBook with our Learning Management System (Liferay).

If I upload the iBook file to the folders, would the students be able to download and access it using their apple mobile device?

Please guide me.

Thanks!

I dont think there will be a direct connection from Apple iBooks to Liferay .

But you can download iBooks to your device / system and do the sync which will be stored into Liferay repository.

If it stored into Liferay's repository, just give folder permission to the users.

Also, Liferay has introduced Liferay Sync Apps which will support for apple device.

Managed to do this.

Just loaded the *.iBooks file to one of my community and tested in iPad. The moment the user clicks on it, they are bale to open it using iBooks app.

Thanks,
Alagu
