Good Morning,

I am hoping to get a little bit of guidance here dialing in what I believe to be the final settings for my CAS + LIFERAY integration.

Setup:
  • CAS: https://cas.draker.co:8443/login
  • Liferay: http://liferay.draker.local/liferay


My CAS server is authenticating properly, logging in and out, creating tickets etc.

I've scoured these forms, and the web in general, and have tried a pletheroa of different settings, and results include:
  • Blank page redirect post authentication
  • Return to liferay sign in page, post authentication
  • Sitting at CAS login, with successful login notice


In my portal-ext.properties, I've modified the setting of live.users.enabled=true (to false), as well as adding a new variable 1live.users,enabled=false. Both modifications without any luck... both modification suggestions found on these Forums.

I am trying to stick with making all my modifications in one place, that being the Control Panel - Web Interface.

Current configuration, that brings me to a blank page:
Enabled (checked)
Import from LDAP (CHECKED)

Login URL: https://cas.draker.co:8443/login
Logout URL: https://cas.draker.co:8443/logout
Server Name: http://liferay.draker.local/liferay
Server URL: https://cas.draker.co:8443
Service URL: < must remain empty if I populate Server >

Note: I've been modifying these, trying all sorts of combinations, all day yesterday, and for the life of me I cannot seem to get the correct combination.

Login and Logout are crystal clear to me - these listed above, should be correct, those urls are the CAS server logins and logouts.

Server Name - help indicates this to be the root directory of the Liferay server..
Server URL - help indicats this is the CAS server again.. it feels wrong of course...
Service URL - Confusing. It needs to be empty if the CAS Server Name is set..... and the help on the Server Name, leads on to believe it's supposed to be Liferay.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Downgraded to liferay 6.0.6 and cas worked fine... couple of hours time.

Call this resolved I guess.

I don't consider this resolved. I want it to work on 6.1.1 and having same issues and confusion / results as Trev. We, too, have an external CAS, working fine with other apps and other LR versions...

Anyone can provide insight or a guide that actually produces desired results? Is this working well for anyone in 6.2 versions? Would rather try going forward than backwards...
