Hi all,

I have a quick question about exporting a set of pages as a LAR file. I have a page setup like below:

Test Page
  • Child Page
  • Child Page

When I export the Test Page (through Manage -> Site Pages -> Click on Test Page -> Export -> Uncheck Data, Check Permissions & Categories -> Export), and then try to import it on a separate Liferay Instance, only the top most page (i.e. Test Page) gets imported. The 2 Child Pages aren't.

Does anyone know how to export a Page along with all of its child pages into one LAR file?

Many Thanks
James Evans

Just exporting the page should work fine, if you want to check whether the pages are exported you can check the lar file for the layouts folder.

Exporting the Parent page doesn't export the child ones. The workaround is to export them individually, but I want to know if there's a way to export them all to the same LAR file?

Hi. I have the same exact problem.

The lar contains only the first layout. I checked it . The problem is that the data (articles and more) have references to layout that will not be imported.

The solution is to export the entire site, if it doesn't fail.
