Hi,
We are planning to deploy a LifeRay instance in Internet, we would like to disable Administrator access from our public address, is there any configuration parameter just to allow administrations tasks from some IP's or internal network ?

Thanks.

Not out of the box but you can setup an filter in your application server to authenticate up front. We're actually doing this in some of our sites.

Another option which I haven't used is to separate Admin pages including login and just block traffic at httpd server in front of Liferay.

Something like in the thread below. It's just a jboss/tomcat filter and not a liferay filter. I've seen some users adding ip filtering in liferay but that's really not too good because it really decreases performance. It's better to do things in httpd server in front of liferay and in application server.
