I've created a portlet and set <maximize-edit>true</maximize-edit> in the portlet to let it maximize when editing... But when you save it reverts back to the view stage but it is maximized too... how can I force it to go back to normal?

Hi Chris,

you can do it at your processAction method after you have applied your settings.

Just add the following:

1if ( request.isWindowStateAllowed(WindowState.NORMAL)){
2    try {
3        response.setWindowState(WindowState.NORMAL);
4    } catch (Exception e){
5        // error
6    }
7}

Best regards

Tobias
