Dear all,
I'm trying to install liferay 6.1.1 ga 2 with jboss 7 on a debian server but I'm facing an issue, Jboss won't even start. I correctly configured JAVA_HOME with java 7 but it doesn't work.
I join a snapshot of what it displays. Additionally, I'm receiving exceptions from the java virtual machine. Any idea?

Thx

Liferay 6.1.1 currently doesn't support java 7. You have to use Oracle SDK 6.

The snapshot you've attached isn't displaying. Please upload it again and also the error message. What's showing in the console? Any errors?
An issue was reported on using liferay on Ubuntu's encrypted drives but not sure about Debian.

When you say "doesn't start", do you mean there's no liferay page when you go to http://localhost:8080
or
do you mean standalone.sh doesn't execute.

Hi all,
this is what it displays when I launch standalone.sh. It doesn't add any message even when I wait for several minutes. As I said before, there is no generated log file.

Try using Oracle jdk. Liferay sometimes doesn't work with openjdk.
