Hi All,

How can i Increase number of threads. & sessions in Liferay. Where do liferay stores session details.

Im working on Liferay performance Tuning & load testing using Jmeter to know the tps (throughput).
Pls suggest me How can i accomplish these.

threads/sessions are managed by the application container. In tomcat, you'd make these changes in conf/server.xml.

Session id is assigned and managed by the application container.

There are some optimization/tuning documents under the documentation page and possibly in the wiki also.

For the most part your best opportunity to tune Liferay performance is to front it with an HTTP server than will handle the static resources.
