Hi all,
I need to automate the importing of lar files using command, batch file, ant script etc anything. I know we can manually import the lar files using the UI "Export / Import" functionality but that wont help me with my requirement. Is there a workaround for automating the importing of lar files ? I m basically working on creating the build file for my project which requires installing Liferay and deploying my code /portlets on top of it. I will really appreciate if anyone can throw any pointers in this regard.

Please tell me any links to refer or any service class to override.
I had referred " " this link.Please update it.

Have you looked at 7cogs demo?

If you're developing a portlet, the usual method is to use liferay's API'to insert data instead of importing lar file.
The advantage of doing it this way is that I can just use the same portlet on newer version. lar files are version/revision
dependent and may not import on different version/revision.
