Have you even tried it? Liferay itself is built upon JSP, and many of us have used JSF portlets using rich faces and ice faces, so we know it can be done...

What have you tried and what is not working?

For starters, you can read Liferay's developer's documentations.

Thanks for your response. Yep I tried it before but am not sure whether this is a right way to do it. First of all, I converted the application developed using Jdeveloper into .war file and then I uploaded the war file from Control Panel -> Server -> Plugins installations. Then I drag and dropped the portlet in my page using the ADD menu. But when I refresh the page it looks like:

"HTTP Status 404 - /DEPLOY_TO__TestWS%20portlet/
type Status report
message /DEPLOY_TO__TestWS%20portlet/
description The requested resource (/DEPLOY_TO__TestWS%20portlet/) is not available. "

Let me know if this is the right way to do it. If not, please guide me.

I would guide you to the developer documentation and have you RTFM...

Your description of the deployment that you did is all wrong, a clear indication that you did not look at any documentation, you're just pointing and clicking around.

Read the doco, follow the instructions, and when you come out the other side you'll look back on this and say "No wonder I was having issues" and you'll be able to answer your own question as to why things were failing.
