A Day of Liferay

Join us on April 9 as we take a virtual trip around the globe to meet our community! Surprise guests, random giveaways, and Liferay goodness.

Recap

A Day of Liferay concluded on April 10, and we would like to extend a hearty round of thank-you's to all of our guests (both planned and unplanned!), participants, and others who were able to join!  You can find the full replays below, and we will produce a highlight reel in the coming days for those who do not have a spare 24 hours to watch the entire replays!

Session 1

The whole thing kicked off with a quick intro from me, and includes the Brazil team being locked out of the Liferay building and broadcasting from their car, and our first game of Closest to the Pin: Brazil. We wrapped up with a special guest, Brian Chan, co-founder and Chief Architect of Liferay.

Session 2

The second session featured our first Developer Jeopardy, and our web team performing a medley of favorite tunes, Liferay style. We also talked to our friends at Savoir-faire Linux, and played a game of Closest to the Pin: Canada.  We wrapped up the session with Brendan and Francesca from 10gen.

Session 5

LIUG continued its string at the start of session 5, including a detailed look at the Cignex intranet. We then said goodbye to our friends in India (but not before a few games of Closest to the Pin and Dev Jeopardy), and began the final stretch with our Europe contingent.
